I just rediscovered how glorious this image is so excuse me while I laugh uncontrollably every time I look at it again.

It was taken in Kensal Green Cemetery in February.

Terry borrowed the white jacket from our editor, Malcolm Edwards, and grumbled that it did nothing to keep him warm on a very cold day.

“Sometimes you have to be cold to look cool,” I told him.

“It’s all right for you,” he said. “You’re wearing a leather jacket.”

“You could wear a leather jacket too.”

“I’m wearing white,” said Terry, pointedly. “That way, when they come after us for writing a blasphemous book, they’ll know I’m the nice one.”

(After the photo was taken we noticed the bat-winged hourglass, which we hadn’t seen during the photo session, and requested bat-winged hourglasses as a design motif in the book.)

I should add that we already had winged hourglasses all the way through the book. We just has them change the wings from bird to bat.

6-year-old Harajuku street snap personality Coco Princess is featured in a brand new Vice Video Interview!

You can see Coco being fun and interacting with people in Harajuku in the video. They also touch on the sad story behind how Coco ended up in Harajuku - her family was evacuated from Fukushima (when she was only a few months old) because of the big Japanese earthquake in March 2011.

BIGBANG and GOT7 won “Best Worldwide Act” at the MTV EMAs and Super Junior and EXO where nominated for the same award before. BIGBANG were nominated for a Kids Choice Award. Now BTS were nominated and won a Billboard Music Award. Stop saying that KPOP need Western approval, or recognition in the West. No they don’t. They never will. They are popular in their own country and have tons of worldwide fans and are able to do so much, such as world tours, fan meets, traveling to countries they probably never thought of visiting. They are breaking down barriers that was set up from the past and are doing what any other musician would do, work hard to achieve their dreams. Wither a group wins an award, get nominated for one, or don’t, having someone in the KPOP industry being able to achieve things like this, is a step forward in a new direction. Doesn’t matter if you like the group who gets nominated or wins the award, show love that they are able to do that for future artist.

also breaking into the American market aint easy, focusing on the market that gave you recognition the first place is the right way to go. Most of the fans are happy listening to collaborations and watching the idols perform on music shows. I rather listen to them speak in Korean than watch them sit there in awkwardness answering the same questions about ‘breaking in to the international market’ The idols are already in the international market, they dont need that american version of international.

Anyway, kpop fans are the ones helping the group win, so pat yourself on your back and continue loving the groups out there.
